Raw DI

YOUR BASS NEEDS MORE THAN A VOLUME CHANGE.

Tired of softer MIDI notes sounding like loud notes turned down?

Augment captures soft, medium, and hard playing, with dedicated samples in the middle velocity range. Give your bass parts different attacks, accents, and intensity.

Featuring 6,000+ professionally recorded samples

Make the bass performance your own.

FOUR SELECTABLE TONES

Build your sound from the direct signal, or start with one of Augment’s included tones.

DI — YOUR CHAIN. YOUR SOUND.

The direct bass signal, ready for your favorite amp sims.

AMP 1 — MODERN AGGRESSION.

An aggressive voice for heavy modern metal riffs.

AMP 2 — A DIFFERENT KIND OF GRIT.

A distinctly different type of tone emulating a legendary 90s amp.

CLEAN — LET THE PLAYING SPEAK.

A cleaner starting point that lets the instrument’s attack and dynamics come through.

Four starting points. Make each one your own.

REALISM ON YOUR TERMS.

TIGHTNESS

Control how quickly notes stop. Dial in sharper cutoffs for precise riffs or longer fades for smoother transitions.

DYNAMICS

Shape how MIDI velocity affects volume. Preserve expressive level changes or even out softer and harder notes without changing their articulations.

RELEASE SOUNDS

Set the level of string-release noise—the detail you hear as notes end.

PLAYING MODE

Choose downstrokes, alternate picking, or Auto mode to suit the passage.

TUNING

Choose Drop G, Drop F, or Drop E for your arrangement.

Every part needs a different feel. Keep the performance tight and controlled, or let more of its natural detail come through.
